Based in Then Hague, The Netherlands, Start Dutch is a language course catering specifically to expats and large companies. My primary objective was to create a compelling brand identity and design an engaging website that would effectively communicate the unique value of the course.
For the 1st phase of the project I embarked on a research phase, thoroughly understanding the needs and preferences of expats seeking Dutch language training. By conducting user interviews and analyzing market trends, I gained valuable insights.
Drawing from the research findings, I created a brand identity that felt warm, professional and focused on the target audience. The logo and visual elements were carefully designed to reflect the essence of Dutch culture of social inclusion, while also appealing to the international audience.
The visual design of the website was characterized by a harmonious blend of vibrant colors, captivating imagery, and clean typography.
Throughout the design process, I collaborated closely with the course organizers. Regular usability testing sessions were conducted to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
By creating an intuitive layout and responsive design principles, I ensured a seamless experience across multiple devices and screen sizes, allowing users to conveniently access the site from laptops, tablets or smartphones.
